Q-Power Variable Speed Belts are often the largest and most important belts used on agricultural machinery. These belts can propel a machine weighing several tons through a field and match the speed of the machine to precisely the optimum speed required for harvest conditions. As cylinder or rotor drive belts they again match the speed of the equipment to that required to effectively thresh and separate grain. |

The variable speed belts are produced to ASAE standard S211.4. Belts are either wrapped with a molded “corrugation” on the inner surface or are machine edged with molded “cogs”. These constructions are selected to best match the application requirements of a particular belt size. |

Agricultural variable speed belts differ from Industrial “speed changer” belts in that they transmit much higher loads over a narrower speed range. Therefore, agricultural variable speed belts require higher tensile strength and are thicker with more reinforcement in the tensile support than industrial belts. |

Q-Power Heavy Duty Rotor Drive Belts have cogs on both the inside and outside diameter. These rotor drive belts are the only one piece rotor drive belts with cogs on the outside diameter in the industry. The cogs are molded to precise engineering tolerances to improve flexibility and maintain cord support. Cog geometry provides a large area for air circulation to keep the belt cool and prevent damaging heat buildup in the cushion section. |
